Alex at The Daily Transcript also has a post up on the interview with Zerhouni in Nature. He picked up on the same line I did, “500 billion economic stimulus with 1 billion for science”. I think the fact of the matter is that we do not know what Obama’s stimulus package will look like, but we do have a chance to have our voices heard for an investment in science and the future of our economy. One thing is for certain, there is an economic stimulus package coming when Obama takes office. This means you have limited time to tell the President Elect’s Office what you think. If you haven’t already advocated for more science funding, do it now!
